Who I am
I like engineering when it makes someone's day easier. Since 2014 I've been building systems for real problems: I started in hands-on IT, went through founder mode building a delivery ecosystem solo, then finance ERP, a critical tax platform, and now a remote product in Canada.
Curiosity is the fuel. I want the why behind the task, how the piece fits the whole, and where the process can get better, preferably by automating whatever is boring and repetitive. Clean code and explainable decisions beat “magic” automation without context.
At NewRich (Senior, remote) I work on personalized feeds, Playwright and k6, PostHog feature flags, moderation (Sightengine + self-hosted ML), and React admin tools. Before that, at Bling, I helped migrate a PHP monolith to Go microservices in the tax domain (tens of millions of documents a month) and built an AI ticket manager that cut average analysis time from hours to minutes, always with human review.
I was also the sole developer on iMeal: mobile, web, desktop, AWS, payments, and the unglamorous non-technical work nobody puts on LinkedIn. Off the clock I ship PointLife (App Store and Google Play), tinker with React/Laravel side projects, and experiment with AI agents for product and ops. Semi-smart-home energy, continuous learning, plus an MBA and postgraduate work in security/forensics, because business and risk context are part of the craft too.
Short version: senior full-stack, comfortable from backend to frontend, with scale experience, sensitive domains (finance/tax), and a habit of delivering end to end, from schema to deploy, from ticket to merge request.
