Canadian company, remote. High-traffic full-stack product work: personalized feeds, release quality, feature flags, content moderation, and internal ops admin tools.

Tailored Feed: ranking algorithm with interest profiles, diversity, and caching; evolved into For You, PostHog gating, feed-ml (LightGBM, embeddings, Redis scoring), and an AI Feed Manager (personas and content pipeline).
Playwright E2E: infrastructure and a broad suite (~139 specs) covering auth, marketplace, creator, feed, groups, settings, messaging, For You, and CI smoke — including Blocked Feed regression coverage.
k6: performance suite with smoke, load, soak, and stress profiles for critical API reads (feed, For You, groups, search, notifications), wired into CI.
PostHog as a shared Laravel package: SDK, Redis-cached local flag evaluation, sync worker, progressive rollouts (feed, membership, moderation), and an admin Feature Flags UI.
Content moderation: Sightengine integration, React admin, automated moderation with PostHog rollout, and a self-hosted moderation-ml service (CPU/GPU, ECS, shadow evaluation).
Scaffolded a React Admin Panel (alongside Nova) for moderation and feature-flag operations.
Paystream: React Account Holders PayOps UI — frontend delivery on the payments product.
Team delivery standards via team-skills (branch, commit, PR, tests, Playwright, deploy) plus early marketplace/SEO improvements.
Ongoing Git workflows (lf/ branches, PRs, human review before merge) in a remote Agile setup with Jira.

High-volume tax platform: invoices, government integrations, and tax calculations. A wrong change can mean client fines — attention to detail and finance domain knowledge really matter.

Legacy modernization: migrated the PHP monolith to Go microservices (DDD/NoSQL), supporting 40M+ fiscal documents per month.
Adapted the tax engine to Brazil's tax reform while keeping operations running for 100,000+ clients.
Resilient microservice architecture (DDD), refactoring communication bottlenecks — lower latency and better cost on critical workflows.
Complex tax calculations and high-volume XML issuance, adapting quickly to regulatory shifts under tight deadlines.
REST API contracts and documentation with OpenAPI / Swagger for integration and troubleshooting across services.
AI ticket manager (last project before leaving): an internal tool for the Tax squad to clear a backlog with tickets 6+ months overdue.
Integrations: GitLab, Jira, local Claude/Cursor, and a read-only tickets database; Google Auth limited to @bling accounts.
Flow: configure the squad → list L4 (dev-level) tickets for the module; local cache + daily sync to avoid unnecessary production reads.
AI actions: check whether the issue still reproduces (local source), confidence that it's fixable, fast triage for questions/third-party deps; “resolve” with Haiku, Sonnet, or Opus — local branch, attempted fix, and a GitLab MR with explanation and how to test.
Nothing shipped without human review. Result: average handling time dropped from ~5 hours to ~15 minutes per ticket. The company wanted wider rollout beyond the Tax squad; Jira cards were auto-created with issue detail.

Led development of the Finance Management System (Laravel, Vue.js, Docker), integrated with the ERP to centralize accounts payable and receivable.
Complex Asaas gateway integrations — boleto and unified financial transactions on one platform.
Full Laravel 5 → 8 modernization, addressing dependency vulnerabilities and improving long-term performance and stability.
